Supported document formats

Velstrian Bid natively ingests standard procurement formats including .docx, .xlsx, .pdf, and .csv. Clean native digital files yield the highest extraction accuracy.

Extraction validation checklist

Once Velstrian Bid processes uploaded documents, review the extracted items:

  • Confirm all scored quality questions are captured with their specific word/character limits.
  • Check that pass/fail mandatory qualification criteria are tagged appropriately.
  • Verify that scoring scales (e.g. 0-5, 0-100) are mapped correctly.
For scanned PDF files, use the OCR validation mode to verify that tables, footnotes, and header numbers were parsed without character corruption.
